Baby Camp is here!

On Sunday June 21, 2009, Corey and I started out the day as normal going to church then to eat at dondies. off to the house for a nap and then sitting around with calleigh Jo. I started picking up the house and noticed i was contracting. I started timing at about 7:21 pm. My contractions were 10 minutes apart, as time went on the got to bout 7 minutes apart and so on. Corey and I decided to go eat dinner with Calleigh Jo at Lindsey s Pizza just in case we went into labor, I would be full, Sure enough, As we ate, my contractions went from 5 to 4 to 3 minutes apart. Wow. they were hurting more to. I told Corey I think we need to go to the Hospital. we went home, grabbed Camps Car seat and our bags, took calleigh to leahs house and dropped her off then headed out of town. Corey forgot his phone and my charger so we had to turn around and go back home to get them. When we headed to Little Rock, Corey kept asking if i was still contracting. they had calmed down alot but i was scared to not go and then something happen, so i told him to go on., We got to the hospital bout 10:15 and got all checked into triage, The nurse asked me questions. I was hurting, but laughing bc all Corey did was sing and make me laugh. even thow the contractions calmed down, My lower back was hurting and i was cramping really bad, By the time the Dr. came in. she Checked me, It hurt so bad, i was crying. She said, I was dilated to a 6 and my sac of water was building. She said, Well your going to have a baby tonight. I was nervous. Corey was excited and calling everyone. She had the nurses get me to the room and all hooked up to the IV's and monitors. My contractions started back up, the Drug Doctor came in and set my epidural up and got it going. it felt great. My legs were so numb thow. LOL. later on, Mom, Shawn, and Josh all showed up, then Elecia and Rush then Leah, Ginger, Josiah and Calleigh. A room full, but I loved it I had a great labor, I was laughing with everyone and talking away, making no since. bc of the meds. haha, later on the dr came in and broke my Water, then gave me pitosen. They hooked a prob on Camps head so that they could watch his contractions closer, once they got going, later the nurse came back in, her name was Amanda, she checked me and said I was an 8/9, I was so happy, soon she was back and I was Complete at a 10, wow, I was so anxious. Mom, Leah, Elecia, and Ginger were all in the room with me and Corey when I was pushing. She had me push for a lil bit then had the Dr. come in and deliver lil man. It was so funny. once his head was close down, she called for the Dr's Peds' and nurses. in 2 seconds, ppl were coming from everywhere, tables were appearing, the bed was dropped from under me, the leg stirups went up, lights came on. it was like , Lights Camera Action. haha. so funny. Corey said it looked like a seen from the Truman show and he was so right. The nurse stepped out of the way and Dr. Laura Kruger stepped in. Push Push was all i heard for bout 15 minutes. all together bout 22 minutes. Camp came out smoothly. It was great. she lifted him up and I started Crying so much. I was so in love from the second i saw him, they took him over and cleaned him up, took his footprints, and gave him a shot, then weighed him. he was a perfect 6 lbs 11 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. they wrapped him all up. Corey got him first then came to me. As soon as he handed him to me, I was so happy. I didn't want to let go. All I wanted to do was hold him and stare at him love him, kiss him. and so much more. It was so worth it. He was perfect, came out with my ears, nose and complexion, coreys eyes, and mouth and Brown hair. He was 100% perfect. that's all I could say. Calleigh came in and was so happy to hold him. she was so excited. she said He needs his passy, ill get it for him. Haha. she took right up with helping. Everyone left bout 6 am, and headed home. I fed Camp and was so loving it. I'm hooked to it. All i could do was stare at him and think, Wow, God really new what he was doing. I'm so blessed to have such an adorable Son. He ate so well, latched right on and ate for bout 30 minutes. He did great! We stayed in the hospital until Tuesday afternoon, we left for home bout 4pm. it was rainy and cloudy and we got out right in rush hour. haha. no fun, a little nervous but we made it. Camp was so sweet in his new car seat. so peaceful. I just love staring at him and talking to him, Little Guy is the love of my life other then Calleigh I now have two beautiful Children and so blessed to have them. Now we get to start up our new family at home and enjoy all the baby moments. Labor was great. I Loved every minute of it and went thru with no problems. all of what I have been praying for. God is so good.
