Potty Training 1-2-3

Well, Third times a Charm... Ha.


Camp has tried TWICE to Potty Train and Poor guy got Sick BOTH times! Stomach Bugs. So I'll Spare the Details. If you are A Mommy, you usually Know what happens to Potty Time with A stomach Bug.


So after Once when he turned 2 and Twice after the Holidays, We Gave it a 3rd Go around. This time with a Different Method....

Yes. I found this on a Friends Facebook Page, I watched the Full 30 Minute Video and Decided this was For Camp..


In Short, It's a Reward / Role Play Method... The Child gets LOTS and I mean LOTS of Yummy Treats. for you Mom's that are Strictly Organic. Then I'm sure you can come up with something to Reward them with!

The Idea...

Pee in the Potty... Get a Treat,

Poop In the Potty.... Get a Treat and Something else to make them Extra Excited

The Child Picks out their Own Teddy Bear and Gets to Pick out the Underwear for Both themselves and the Teddy Bear, B/C what makes more sense showing a Little One that they Teddy Bear, Stayed Dry & Clean ALL Night & ALL Day, then Just Telling them We do?

Considering a Teddy Bear will ALWAYS stay Dry & Clean! Ha.

With this they get to See and Feel the Teddy Bears Undies and Once they Notice that It always Stays Clean & Dry, they began to think..." I need to stay Clean & Dry Too " 

I Had So Hoped that I would be one of the Mom's in the Video saying that their Child was Fully Day & Night Trained within 24 Hours. However. Every Child is Different and they will tell you that in the Video. As soon As I started Camp, He LOVED it! He Went a Full 24 Hours with NO Accidents and even slept through his Nap and Night Time with Under wear and NO Accidents! I was Thrilled...


Little man has had a Couple of Accidents here and there.. Saturday was kinda a Random 'Let Me Pee my Pants 4 times in a Row' Moment. But after a Little 'Reminder' he has been good since! He has only had 2 accidents in the NIGHT hours with Undies. Yes, I hate having to Clean this up, but He has to Learn! We have been Pull Up FREE for a Week Now. He holds it while we are out in town, at Home, and pretty much anywhere!


Im soooooo Excited! It did take a Tad bit longer then 24 hours. haha, But A Week in and just a Few Accidents... Ill Take it! He's getting the idea pretty Easily and Loves the Snacks...

Your supposed to let the Child Pick out their Own Drinks at the Store. here is what we ended up with!

Camp's Favorite Part about Potty Training... All the Treats. It was a hit. Oh. and Key to the Salty / Sweet Treats. It makes them More Thirsty, so this causes them to Drink More which gives them More Chances to Potty and Learn to Hold it and When to Go! :)

My Son actually FORCED himself to Pee several times just to get some Candy!
