My Week So Far

Let's just say this has already been a crazy week! I might use something I learned at BNO and talk to my kiddos in the post! :) Where do I begin?

Monday:

Monday started out different. Calleigh, you had been up all night coughing, So I kept you home from school. I'm pretty sure you had what all the other kids around town have been getting. So needless to say, If you are home, Mommy puts off house work. your to busy with your little brother.

I took you to the clinic uptown to have you looked at and was told to fill out all this paperwork b/c they changed systems. Well after doing so, They informed me that they could not see you b/c your pediatrician was in at her office. If your Dr. is in, She will not allow anyone else to treat you. I was so upset. I just wanted to save a 35 minute drive. I went ahead and made you an appt. for 1:45 later that day.

As the day went on, You began to feel much better. I decided to keep from going to the Dr. You laid down for a nap and all was peaceful. SO I THOUGHT!!!!

Camp, just when mommy thinks its quiet time and Maybe, Just Maybe i can catch a quick nap, you come to me with something in your mouth! I knew right away what it was. The Verdict: A small Metal knob. This came from a latch on our bathroom door.

Being the smart mommy that I am. I pull the Reverse Psychology trick. I asked you to come to me and let me see what you had. You always fall for this trick and give it to me every-time. This day, you refused, Being the boy that you are, I grabbed your arm and you tried to run, Throwing your head back and trying to laugh you GAGGED!!! Yes. Gagged.

Mommy's panic mode set in. I picked you up, tossed you upside down, finger in the mouth, pumping the stomach. I then noticed you were being unusually Calm to have just swallowed a metal knob. I set you down, and frantically searched my room for this knob. No KNOB. I then called the clinic AGAIN.... They tell me to rush you to the ER and get you X-Ray'd So off we went!

Dropped Calleigh off with Poppie and Lulu and we sped our way to Searcy. I text Aunt Elecia and Ginger on our way asking them to pray. I was praying that I was a Nutcase and you had nothing in you, or if it was, that it would not move so that you would be able to breath. We got there and to our surprise Ginger was already there waiting. We rushed in, they took you back so fast. I was pleased with how quick they worked. The X-Ray's were done. You did not like this. Me and Ginger had to hold you down. It broke my Heart! :(

The Dr. comes in after-wards and explains that you did in fact swallow that knob thingy. It was in your belly. I was so relieved. I knew that gut feeling. So glad you had it down though and not in your air way! I know the Dr.s and Nurses thought I was crazy. One Male nurse looked at you and said, " I have some quarters in my pocket if you are still hungry" we got a good laugh! So, that being said Son, They told me it would take 3 to 5 days to pass and seeing that mommy has to smash your poo until it passes. Since we are on day 2 now, I would really appreciate it if you just pass that thing! :)

Next, I made a fast run to Wal-Mart to buy a few things for the house. Ginger came along and bought Camp a so called 'Celebration Balloon' for it going down. Only it said 'Happy Birthday' Thanks Aunt Ginger. Camp, You played with that balloon the whole way home

Later that night, I headed to a friends house for the most fun in a while. Blogger's Night Out! Oh What fun. Savannah B with Chasing My Bees was there. She taught us so much. I needed the help. I'm trying out a few things. So we will see how all turns out! A friend of mine there, Her little girl Loved going through all of our purses, She was so cute. Until she decided to pull out My Tampon from my son's diaper bag. Wow. I was so embarrassed. hahahaha. I could not stop laughing , along with everyone else. It was quite a night.

Tuesday:

This day was pretty much boring. It Rained all day. Calleigh you went off to school this day since you were feeling much better, You didn't want to stay, yet again. most days, you are so easily happy with going to school and you pretty much make me take you! HaHa! :) Corey was home from the Farm today since it was raining. He, however being the great husband and Man of God that he is, Went to the church to help out with Food and set up and take down for a Funeral. I love how awesome he is.

Camp, you and I went grocery shopping and tried out the new store in Des Arc. Main Street Grocery. I have to say you were pretty good, and I was impressed with how in order and neat everything was! Calleigh I mailed out your birthday invites. Can't wait for your party next week little girl! The rest of the day was a lounge day.

Wednesday:

I learned about a 'meme' at BNO Monday night but haven't really joined in on the fun. My friend/family member and a few other friends do the 'meme' 'What I'm Loving Wednesday' so since I have not really joined, in. Ill just say that I'm Loving my new bed. Corey and I went today to pick it up at Haverty's in Little Rock. as soon as we got home, we so excitedly put it together and added those new mattress's to it. Wow. So excited. We are so blessed to have it. Cant wait to get my bedding all done now. a few final touches. Pics to come soon.

Well there ya have it. Only day 3 and my week has already been hectic, But my dear husband and sweet princes and testy monkey. Mommy would not have it any other way! I love all three so much!
