Busy Weekend, Insperational Thought and a PENNY! yes a PENNY!

So this weekend was really busy! Ill try to keep it short. It's full of Fun, Laughs, and Surprises. :)

Friday:

We pretty much stayed in because it iced!
Calleigh's School let out early! So we all stayed home for the evening!

Saturday
:

My sister-in-law and I were supposed to have a Yard Sale. But we decided to postpone! LOL. I think a week earlier's 70 degree weather gave us spring fever and the most recent 30 degree weather made us NOT do it!

Later that night all the young adults and youth from church went bowling! I say just us, We all brought our little ones along with us! It was a HUGE group, But we had so much fun. My nephew Joe, Bowled a Strike and won a free Ice cream. Not bad for a 2 year old! :) Way to go Joe! Calleigh started to Bowl, then decided she was not up for it! So she sat with me and Camp, ate pizza and played. We all had a great time!

Me and my Little man!

Sipping down mommy's tea!

They both LOVE ICE!

Calleigh and Camp taking in the Game!

DON'T ASK!!! lets just say My daughter does not like to pose properly! :)

Sunday:

I went to church with my dad. He attends River Of Life in
Judsonia. My Uncle and Cousin Joseph were getting Baptized and I wanted to be there to see it! Nothing like Family to support you on a Great Day like that!

The Service was so good and you could just feel the Holy
Spirit moving trough out the Congregation! I loved it! Once it was time for the Baptism's, My uncle went first and gave his testimony. It was so sweet, the first thing he said was " I want to first of all thank my mom for planting the seed in all 10 of us as children" I looked over at my Grandma who is now 71, I believe, and she had tears rolling down her face. Of course I began to cry to! It was a precious Moment!

My cousin Joseph was up next. he's 10. His dad got to Baptize him and that was pretty awesome in it's self! He was crying along with my Aunt in the front Row while taking pictures! :) I just Love days like this at church! After church was over, My dad and I and the kids made a trip to McDonalds for lunch! Super Easy, Fast and Fun for the kids! We sat there for 2 hours and just talked while the Kids played! I love watching them get so excited! I also Love talking with my Dad for a long time. Great to catch up! We had a fun time!

Me and the kids! Calleigh's face is Priceless to me! The girl does not like her picture taken!

Camp wanting so badly to get up in there and play with his sister! :(

She loves her Ice Cream Papa got her!

Camp, Watching all the kids play around him!

Papa and Camp have a stare down!

The kids and I headed home afterwards, they both passed out once we got there. It was so nice outside So I decided to Go tan and clean the Car. It really needed it! I eventually Made my way home and then went walking with My sister-in-law and one of her boys! We were fine to start off with, But I'm pretty sure by the time we made it back, we were freezing. It's a little cooler after dark!

Corey and I had talked earlier in the day about what we had both learned at church that morning, Given we both were at separate churches. He at ours and Us at my dads! Corey shared with me something that he had thought of during the message and he was sure to write it down so that he could tell me! I loved it and I think you will to! So hear ya go:

' What will the Lord say to you on judgment day? Will he say well done good and faithful servant or You asked for cars or houses or money. But, What about the things I have asked for?, Your time, your money, Meet the needs of people around you? Reach the lost and dying. but you wouldn't get out of your comfort zone? Your world is like a bubble. Only christian things are able to enter your world. We are in the world but not of the world. Everything is safe here. But if your living in your world , where the world can't touch you, How can you touch the world, the lost, the dying? If they can't speak to us because we shut off the world who can they reach out too? We are called to be a light unto the world. Your light shines bright but if no one sees it, what good is it? '

I just think that is something we can all use a little of! Here lately I have had a heart to GIVE .... I think often about others and Pray more for them for sure! I believe that God hears our prayers and honors the fact that we care more for others then ourselves and what good deeds we do for others as well! I have heard before of people entertaining angels and that scares me! Not because I don't want to be around an angel. That would be awesome, But the thought of how so many of us are at times. We don't want to waste our time or give or pray for or lend a hand, And what if, just, What if one of those times it was an angel and we had no clue! I would hope that I had entertained them with a good deed! I just think that is so true of what he said!

Okay! ON to my EVENTFUL PENNY MONDAY!

Calleigh was out of school yet again due to SNOW! we spent most of our morning around home cleaning and lounging as a family! I called in to make Camp a Dr's appt. to get him checked for a follow up since he decided to eat a Metal Knob last week! You can read more about that here! He still has not passed this knob and it's been 7 days. So we made it to the Dr's Office after the snow melted off and got checked in.

Waiting to be called back. They loved this train set!

He didn't like it back there to much

Sister made it all better though! and I got a good pic of my girl!

The Dr. was pretty fast and didn't really answer the questions I had for her, But after all was done, She told me to WAIT and it will come out! she then sent us off to the Hospital to get his blood drawn to check for the lead count. This also, was only b/c i had asked if he could get an infection from it being in his little body so long.

So we make it to the hospital, Get checked in and Calleigh starts panicking. She did not want to see Camp get his blood drawn. She said "Mom, I cant do this". Ha. My 4 year old has some pretty silly phrases.

We get back there and poor guy gets the blood taken. It was awful. there is nothing I cant stand more then having to be a part of my child's pain. Camp is held down by me and the nurse and the second nurse is poking his little arm. His tears were more then enough for me to want to grab him up and tell him how sorry I was, But I knew he had to have it done. I just sat still and sang the ABC's in his sweet ear! It was done before we knew it. I had thought to my self when we left " Camp, I know you son, You will poop that thing out once we get home and after I put you through all this pain."

Nothing a Little Chic-Fil-A cant fix!

Once again, the girl does not like camera in her face!
But she loved her chicken!

Well we make it home, and Guess who has a stinky??? Yep, you guessed it. So I plop little
dude up on the changing table singing the " Is this the metal diaper Mommy's been waiting for" Song that I made up and had been singing for a week now! LOL. With my smiles and giggles Camp just looked at me like, " Mom, please just clean my poo."

SOOOOOOO
I'm cleaning and I see this some-what round metal object. Picture this. I'm jumping up and down, yelling " Yay, yay, its out, its out" Good job little man, Calleigh is yelling " LET ME SEE, LET ME SEE!!!! and camp is still just looking. LOL! I Look closer and start to notice something a little different. "HUMMMM, that looks like Copper" I dig more and more and "Woa. A PENNY!!!" " CAMP, YOOOOUUUU ATTTTEEE A PENNNNNNY????"

I figured you would not want to see the real picture! :)

The look on his face was priceless. after the blank look from before, he then smiles from ear to ear and giggles. almost like he's thinking " Yeah, you didn't see that one coming did you mom" LOL!

I was completely shocked. I know this is not the KNOB I had seen in the X-Rays a week earlier, Yet the Knob has not passed, Sooooooo 'He ate a penny since then and I did not know this????' So, I was so freaked out the fact that my son had swallowed a penny and I did not even know it. But thankful he did not choke on it! peeeeewwwww. Glad he was okay!

So where are we now? Still waiting on the metal knob and blood results to come back informing us of his lead count! Please say a prayer all is okay and he will pass this thing! All the Best,
